Sonic Demo On 360, The Worst Sonic Yet?

Unless Sonic Team make drastic changes to the game, based on the demo they released earlier today it's fair to say that this could be the worst Sonic game ever. Should Sonic Team abandone this disaster and create a 2.5D Sonic game, with 2D levels rendered in 3D graphics?

Official Wii Box Art, Zelda, Redsteel, and More!

IGN Wii has put together a compilation of official Wii box art, as given to us by Nintendo and third party publishers. Although still incomplete -- there are nearly 30 launch window games planned for the holiday -- we've posted the first eight or so box arts, which should give viewers a very good idea of what to expect going forward.

Resident Evil 5 exclusive denied!

Word from Japan had suggested that Resident Evil 5 will be exclusive to Xbox 360 for a year but that's not the case, Capcom tells us this morning..."Resident Evil 5 will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 as announced. There a no plans for an exclusive with the game", a spokesperson from the company told us.

Son Snaps DS Lite in Fit of Rage

My son snapped his DS Lite in half over the weekend. After settling down I sat him down and delivered a speech of near apocalyptic doom on the vices of losing control of your anger and the value of a DS Lite and all of the entertainment starved children who would kill for a DSL. Impressive AND funny story. Speaks volumes for Nintendo's quality.

1 Million Wii Units At Launch In North America

Nintendo will have 1 million units available, compared to Sony's 400,000 PS3s.

That's right, not component or HDMI. It can however upscale via component, but for the few games that support 1080p a VGA cable will be required.

Nintendo's Launch Advertising Slogan to be "Wii Move You"

Nintendo is preparing an all-out web assault to promote its Wii console, out on 8 December, allocating a significant portion of its £10m marketing budget online. Using the slogan 'Wii Move You', the Japanese gaming giant is set to take full advantage Sony's decision to hold the PlayStation 3 launch back until the New Year.

This was the most insane/awesomest/sickest trailer I have seen for a game yet. It doesn?t show any game play sadly, but what it does show is just orgasmic. New information about scaled-back shipments of launch games that could make the PS3 even less attractive. Top-tier titles will only ship 100,000 copies by year-end, so games will be scarce, and publishers' profits will take a beating.

The cost of weapons and equipment that you purchase in Counter-Strike: Source are now based on an algorithm that calculates the global market demand for various weapons. As more people purchase a certain weapon, the price will rise and other weapons will become less expensive.

eLoader 0.99 for PSP Firmwares 2.7-2.71 Released!

Dubbed "Märzenbier", this new eLoader by Noobz does it all. It's the first eLoader for 2.7-2.71 firmwares, and even has limited kernal access for 2.5-2.71. Awesome!

Ubisoft leaks unannounced upcoming titles

"Ubisoft is 'displeased' that a number of unannounced titles have been revealed on the internet, including new titles in the Far Cry and Splinter Cell series." They ACCIDENTALLY leaked 2 GB onto public portion of their server - duh! There were over a dozen leaked game title names, including a tech demo for Far Cry 2.

Two New EA Games for Wii!

EA just announced two new games for the Wii! Need for Speed: The Island, and The Sims: The Island. The Island is a massively open world encompassing 600 square miles of fictional island landscape. EA will be launching three of these games on November 14, 2006 with future titles to be announced in 2007.

Monday night we got a little present in the mail. It was from a collections company. Interesting. I open it up quickly see that it was a collection for non other than Blockbuster. It was for a grand total of $39.41. Sure I can pay this, but what the heck is it for? So I called my friendly neighborhood Blockbuster to find out.
